Job Description

This full-time position will be responsible for performing skilled building maintenance and repair work of the Suwannee Valley Electric (SVEC) properties and grounds.

Job Related Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have a minimum 2 years' experience in building construction and/or maintenance work
  • Requires some lawn maintenance knowledge and experience
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must have knowledge and experience with general construction
  • Fork Lift Certification
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Requires basic computer skills

Valued but not required skills and experience:

  • Vocation/Technical school training in general contracting
  • Plumbing and/or Electrician License
