At Suwannee Valley Electric Cooperative (SVEC), we work hard to keep your power on around the clock. However, we realize that some outages can’t be avoided. If your power does go out, our linemen immediately go to work to restore it, safely and quickly.
Report Your Outage
As an SVEC consumer-member, you can report an outage by:
Using our SmartHub account management app on your cell phone or other mobile device
Texting “out” to (800) 752-0025 from the phone number we have on file for your account. Before you can do so, you’ll need to sign up for our text-based outage reporting service by texting “svec” to (800) 752-0025. This service is only available to members with less than 5 accounts. Members with 5 or more accounts must report outages using another method.
Calling (800) 752-0025 from the phone number we have on file for your account
Our outage management system uses caller ID technology to quickly identify your service location by your phone number. This makes reporting easier for you and allows us to speed up response and restoration time. So, always make sure we have your current phone number before you text or phone in your outage. You can update your phone number by:
- Submitting an online form
- Logging into your account and clicking on the “My Profile” tab
- Using our SmartHub account management app
- Contacting Member Services
Track Your Outage
Our website features a live Outage Map showing current outages along with information such as number of meters affected and restored.
