Families Enjoy Fun & Learning at Touch-a-Truck
Thank you to everyone who joined us for SVEC’s fifth annual Touch-a-Truck event. Children from across the cooperative’s service area came out to explore a diverse range of service vehicles and meet the people who operate them. When they weren’t learning about the vehicles, kids enjoyed activities like inflatables, crafting, barrel cart rides, and more.
Some favorites included an Airlife medical helicopter, bucket truck rides with SVEC linemen, and visits with Sparky the Fire Dog.

SVEC was proud to honor our local veterans by taking part in the Live Oak Veterans Day Parade on November 11.
Children enjoyed big trucks, bucket truck rides, helicopters and photos with Sparky the Fire Dog at the 2024 Touch-a-Truck event.
