Following Hurricane Debby, which brought high winds and torrential rains to Florida’s Big Bend region, Suwannee Valley Electric Cooperative (SVEC) has restored electric service to 27,473 (99%) of the co-op’s 27,714 consumer-members who lost power due to the storm. Crews continue working to restore members who are still awaiting power and can safely receive it.

Yesterday, SVEC crews and contractors achieved and surpassed the cooperative’s target of restoring power to at least 95% of its consumer-members in Hamilton and Columbia counties who could safely receive power by tonight.
