We would be happy to establish new service for you, and are eager to make the process as efficient as possible.
How to Establish Residential Service

Apply for Membership & Service
- Provide SVEC with a county-issued building permit for the property.
- Complete and submit an Application for Service.
- If you are not already an SVEC member, you must also submit an Application for Membership.

Billing
- SVEC offers standard billing options
- After 12 months of service, budget billing may also be available
- Or, you may prefer to enroll in MyChoice, our pay-as-you-go plan
Outdoor Lighting
Outdoor lighting is available upon request for an additional monthly charge
- Please contact our Member Service Department if interested
Operation Round Up
- All new accounts are automatically enrolled in SVEC’s Operation Round Up program

Medical Necessity
- If you have a medical need dependent on electricity, we ask that you mail or hand-deliver a completed Medical Necessity Form (PDF) to our Member Service Department
- We also recommend that you register with your county emergency management agency by visiting the Florida Special Needs Registry website
