SVEC has restored service to over 95% of its consumer-members who lost power because of Hurricane Idalia.
The remaining outages, each affecting two consumers on average, are spread across the cooperative’s 2,100 square mile service territory. At some of these locations, components of the member’s home electrical equipment will need to be repaired before service can be safely reconnected. When repairs are made, members should notify SVEC’s Member Services Department by calling 800-447-4509.
Crews will continue to restore service for all consumer-members that can safely receive it.
