Suwannee Valley Electric Cooperative's (SVEC’s) office remains open during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm), but its consumer-members are strongly encouraged to use alternative methods for doing business with the cooperative.
“We want to ensure that our consumer-members continue to have access to their cooperative, but with all of the convenient tools we provide, there are very few reasons why they should need to visit our office” said SVEC CEO Mike McWaters.
SVEC’s free SmartHub app can be used to manage all aspects of a cooperative account. It's a quick and easy way to make payments, update account information and report issues with electric service, 24/7 from any mobile device.
Consumer-members can also make payments 24/7 using the co-op’s drive-through kiosk or interactive phone line: (877) 562-5504. Member service representatives can be reached Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm by calling (800) 447-4509, visiting the co-op’s drive-thru window or having a live chat on our website.
“We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and the few consumer-member visits to our lobby, and take any measures needed to provide the best level of service possible while keeping everyone safe,” said McWaters.
