It’s time for Suwannee Valley Electric Cooperative members living in Districts 1, 2 and 3 to meet and nominate a candidate to serve on the board of trustees. Each nominee will be placed on the ballot and voted upon at the Annual Meeting of the Members on Saturday, April 25.
Combine the warm water, olive oil, yeast, and salt in a 5-quart bowl — preferably a lidded, but not airtight, plastic container. Using a wooden spoon or a food processor with a dough attachment, mix in all of the flour until it is incorporated (kneading is not necessary).
When one of Suwannee Valley Electric Cooperative’s staking engineers first meets a member, the goal isn’t simply to complete a plan needed to bring service to a home or business. That engineer acts as an ambassador for the cooperative.
SVEC’s 2019 Christmas cards feature artwork submitted by fifth-graders from Branford Elementary, Hamilton County Elementary, Lafayette Elementary and Suwannee Intermediate schools. SVEC presented a large gift bag of art supplies to the four winners of the card design contest, and each of their teachers received $100 for classroom art supplies.
