When your home is hot, it may seem like the best solution would be to turn your air conditioning to a low temperature and run it full blast. Doing this may bring the temperature down, but it causes the AC to work harder, meaning you use more energy and will have a higher bill.
Turning on fans in your home will help circulate the cooled air and help maximize your AC’s efforts. The fans will not cool the temperature of the air, but using the fan to circulate air can allow you to run your AC at a higher temperature, which will ultimately help use less energy and save money.
