SVEC to Waive Transfer Fee in Preparation for 2018 Annual Meeting
SVEC has created a “grace” period prior to this year’s annual meeting to allow electric accounts to be transferred into the name of the person who pays the bill. The normal $25 transfer fee will be waived from April 2 through April 27. All other fees are still applicable.

At about 10:30 last night, Suwannee Valley Electric Cooperative (SVEC) completed restoration of service to its consumers who lost power due to the winter storm. Broken tree limbs on power lines caused most outages.

Crews were out late last night and early this morning to restore power to our consumers who lost power due to the Winter storm. As of 7:00 a.m., 82% of SVEC’s consumers had power. Nearly 18,000 consumers who lost power due to the storm have been restored.
