Mama’s Cinnamon Rolls
November 2023Easy and delicious, these cinnamon rolls make a mouthwatering addition to your holiday table and are perfect for brunch or any meal.
Heat oven to 375 F. In a 9-by-13-inch baking pan, melt the 5 tablespoons of butter. Stir in the brown sugar, water, and pecans.
Separate each can of crescent roll dough into 4 rectangles; seal perforations. Spread the rectangles with the 3 tablespoons of softened butter. Combine granulated sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over the buttered dough rectangles. Roll up each rectangle from the short side. Cut each roll in 4 slices and place these in the prepared pan over the butter-pecan mixture, cut side down.
Bake for 20-25 minutes. Invert immediately onto a rectangular serving platter or sheet of aluminum foil. Spoon any remaining sauce onto the rolls. Makes 32 small cinnamon rolls.
